Two Brown University seniors with a lower-tech approach won the Rhode Island Elevator Pitch Contest with their startup, Blink, which makes stain-resistant underwear for women, according to the organizer, the Rhode Island Business Plan Competition.
Eunice Png and Julie Sygiel won $1,000 at the third annual contest at the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce last night, where thirty-two other teams also made 90-second pitches. Png and Sygiel say their product is intended “to complement feminine products to give women the confidence and comfort that they deserve.”
