Raytheon Co. reports it has appointed Lynn Dugle president of its Intelligence and Information Systems division, replacing the retiring Michael Keebaugh.
Dugle was named vice president and deputy general manager of IIS in June 2008. Before IIS, Dugle served as vice president of engineering, technology and quality at Raytheon Network Centric Systems from 2004 to 2008, responsible for the function’s strategic direction, leadership and operations.
Before joining Raytheon (NYSE:RTN), Dugle held executive positions at ADC Telecommunications’ Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. She began her career in 1982 at Texas Instruments as a program engineer and rose to the position of vice president of quality for TI’s defense systems and electronics group. Her experience at TI included positions in manufacturing, operations, supply chain management, quality, financial analysis, strategic planning and productivity programs.
Dugle holds two bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University — one in technical management and a second in Spanish. She earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Keebaugh, president of IIS since 2002, will retire at the end of the year.
On Thursday, the Waltham-based defense giant won a $77.4 million contract from the U.S. Army to upgrade Patriot missiles.
Raytheon employs 72,000 people worldwide and reported a 2007 net income of $3.5 billion on revenue of $21.3 billion.
