Following the previously announced retirement of long-time CFO Joseph McDonough, Norwood-based Analog Devices Inc. has announced David Zinsner, former CFO of Intersil Corp., as his successor.
Zinsner spent nine years at California-based Intersil, holding the corporate controller and treasurer position until 2005, when he was appointed CFO of the company. He announced his departure from Intersil earlier this month.
In a related announcement, Analog Devices also announced the promotion of Seamus Brennan to the positions of corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Brennan, who began his career with Analog Devices at the firm’s facility in Limerick, Ireland, has been with Analog Devices for more than 20 years. He will report directly to Zinsner.
To support the transition of the financial team, McDonough, who spent 25 years with Analog Devices, will be retained as an executive advisor until the end of 2009.
Analog Devices, which employs nearly 9,000 people worldwide, makes data conversion and signal conditioning technologies for electronic components, including amplifiers, power converters and micro electromechanical systems (MEMS). The company reported $659 million in revenue in its most recently reported quarter, ending August 2, and $2.5 billion in 2007.
