Dylan Sanders has joined the Boston civil litigation firm of Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen PC as of counsel. Sanders was previously a litigation partner in the Boston office of DLA Piper US LLP, and before that an associate at Hill & Barlow. His experience includes representing developers in zoning, permitting and land-use litigation, including state hazardous waste, wetlands and waterways matters, and he will continue to focus on environmental law.

Accounting Management Solutions Inc. of Waltham has named Frank Armenio, Jay Burstein, and Richard Woodrich as engagement managers. Armenio, a certified management accountant, has more than 20 years of financial and operational experience, including turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, financial system implementation, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls, and accounting management. Before joining AMS last year, Burstein served as a financial consultant, engaging in assignments that included Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and accounting, private equity accounting, financial analysis, and interim CFO services. Woodrich, before he recently joined AMS, served as chief financial officer at a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company that is developing oncology drugs. He has served in a similar capacity at other life sciences companies and has business development experience as well.

Boston firm Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture & Engineering PC has named Bradley Horst as its new chief information officer. Immediately prior to joining EYP, Horst worked for Autodesk Inc. as product marketing manager for architectural solutions, responsible for global product marketing for the Revit Architecture software application. He previously worked for prominent architecture firms NBBJ and Shepley Bulfinch Richardson as an architect and Abbott as director of information technology.

Evergreen Solar Inc. of Marlborough has appointed William “Smitty” Ovitt to the newly created position of director of sales for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Evergreen Solar, Ovitt held senior management positions with Xantrex Technology Inc., a Canadian-based company that develops, manufactures and markets advanced power systems. For the past three years, he directed Xantrex’s sales efforts in Korea and China. Previously, Ovitt held the positions of national sales manager and vice president, sales, at Heart Interface Inc., an RV inverter manufacturer that was later acquired by Xantrex. He also served as the director of marketing for Michigan-based United Solar Systems.

GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc. of Norwood has named Daniel C. Stapleton to the position of technical lead for the company’s nuclear practice. Stapleton has been the lead engineer on nine nuclear projects. Stapleton earned a bachelor’s degree in geological sciences from Lawrence University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with the highest distinction from the University of Rhode Island. He holds a master’s degree in ocean engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Cao has worked as an interactive technology consultant and was a former engineer in the technology division with Strategic Interactive Group (now Digitas). He brings to Holliston-based Wilde Interactive experience in technology solutions development and integration across all phases of web and cross-channel marketing, application strategy and development.
