Iron Mountain Inc. has appointed Marc Duale as president, international. Since joining Iron Mountain in May 2006, Duale has headed Iron Mountain’s European business. Now he will have responsibility for the company’s full international portfolio, including business development and operations in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Boston-based Iron Mountain, Duale served as chief operating officer for DHL. Before DHL, he was a managing director of Reuters Ltd.


Finance
Enis Simsek has joined LifeYield LLC, a Boston-based financial technology provider to wealth management firms and advisers, as chief technology officer. Most recently, Simsek spent seven years at AIR Worldwide where he was assistant vice president and software engineering director, managing a team of more than 25 engineers.


Manufacturing
PhotoMachining Inc. of Pelham, N.H., has added well-known laser scientist Francis (Bo) Burns to its staff. Burns has previously held positions with IBM Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and ESI. During his time working with IBM Endicott and IBM Fishkill, he was one of the first people to ever drill Polyimide with a laser.  He has spent many years developing laser-based manufacturing technology for high-volume applications. Burns holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Services
Key IT, the Boston-based staffing and services division focused on information technology of EDI Specialists, has named Angelo Simao director of the client services team. Simao brings more than 14 years of IT staffing industry experience to his new position, including senior positions with an unnamed European ERP services firm and a national staffing and services company. His past experience includes managing teams that delivered IT staffing solutions to Fortune 1000 companies, small to midsize businesses and government agencies across several technologies.

Commercial real estate advisory firm Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC has promoted Tom O’Regan to executive vice president and Brian Cohen to vice president at the Boston-based company. O’Regan is a member of RBJ’s Downtown Boston leasing group, specializing in the leasing and sale of office space for tenants and landlords. Before joining RBJ in 2004, he was a director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he worked for more than five years, also in the Downtown Boston market. Prior to that, he played professional hockey, including time with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. He earned a B.S. from the Boston University School of Management and is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Cohen joined RBJ in 2006 and manages RBJ’s Consulting Services practice. Cohen’s consulting experience includes headquarters optimization and office/industrial portfolio strategy. Previously, he was associate director in Cushman & Wakefield’s global business consulting practice. Cohen holds an MBA from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.


Security
Axsys Technologies Inc. of Rocky Hill, Conn., has hired Daniel L. Manitakos as president of its Surveillance Systems Group. Previously, Manitakos worked at FLIR Systems for more than 17 years, ultimately serving as the senior vice president and general manager of FLIR’s North Billerica facility. Manitakos succeeds Randy Moore who recently left Axsys to pursue other career opportunities.
