OpenView nabs $118M for second fund

OpenView Venture Partners, a Boston expansion stage venture capital fund firm, has closed on $118 million for its second fund, according to published reports. The global investment fund supports software, Internet and technology-enabled companies with at least $500,000 in quarterly revenues.

The firm opened in 2006, consisting mainly of former employees of Insight Venture Partners. The first fund at that time garnered $100 million, PE Hub reports.

Limited partners of OpenView include Commonfund, Hermes USA, Portfolio Advisors LLC and Procific, the report lists.

Among OpenView’s portfolio of investments are ExactTarget Inc., Loyalty Lab Inc., Open-E GmbH, Acronis Inc., Zmags Inc., Reality Digital Inc. and Exinda Networks.
