Manufacturing
Nanmac Corp. of Framingham has hired Sheila Giordano as senior account manager in the heat treating industry. Giordano brings nearly  a decade of experience in the high-temperature thermal-processing industry at Plansee USA LLC (formerly Schwarzkopf Technologies) in Franklin. Nanmac designs and manufactures temperature sensors and related products and services to automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, plastics, energy and electronics companies.


Network security
Q1 Labs Inc. has named John Burnham as vice president of corporate marketing. Before joining Waltham-based Q1 Labs, Burnham served as vice president of marketing at Brix Networks Inc. in Chelmsford, which was recently acquired by test and monitoring solutions company EXFO. Burnham also held executive positions with Unisphere/Juniper, C-Port Corp./Motorola, Bay Networks/Nortel and Cabletron Systems.


Software
Premise Corp. of Farmington, Conn., has appointed John Hannon as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, responsible for the company’s overall operations and financial management. Prior to joining Premise, Hannon served as CFO and COO of Mangrove Systems Inc., which was sold to Carrier Access in March 2007. He has also served as vice president and general manager of Ascend’s broadband access group. Hannon has also held leadership roles with Honeywell, General DataComm, ADC Telecommunications, Sahara Networks and MSA Venture Partners.

Reflexis Systems Inc. of Dedham has named Kevin Paolino as vice president of sales. Prior to joining Reflexis, Paolino was vice president of sales for Enfotrust Networks, a provider of vendor performance management and learning solutions, which was acquired by Reflexis in 2007. Before joining Enfotrust, he led sales organizations at Xirrus Inc., Symbol Technologies, Intel Corp., and Xircom.


Services
Westborough firm The Training Associates has hired two new sales employees, Scott Miller and John Laverdure. Miller has more than 23 years of sales experience and most recently was selling in the manufacturing outsourcing and commercial finance markets. Laverdure has more than 10 years of sales expertise.  Most recently, he provided trainers in the industrial automation market.

The law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott LLC has added John G. Loughnane as a member in its corporate practice in Boston. He joins the firm from McCarter & English LLP, where he was a partner in that firm’s corporate and bankruptcy groups.  His practice includes general corporate, business restructuring and technology licensing. Loughnane is a member of the American, Massachusetts and Boston bar associations, as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute, Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

Robert Johnson has joined Atrion Networking Corp. of Warwick, R.I., as director of product marketing. Particularly focusing on the company’s managed services including MAXTime, Sentinel and Veracity, Johnson will help Atrion determine industry demand for its offerings, drive new product development and bring those products to the market. Prior to joining Atrion, Johnson worked in executive strategy and marketing capacities with Integrated Management Solutions, CGI Inc., Deloitte Consulting and Digital Equipment Corp.
