Earth Search Sciences’ search for a CFO ends at Bridge
By Mass High Tech Staff
Boston-based Earth Search Sciences Inc., which recently relocated to New England from Montana, continues to build out its local executive team, adding former Brooke Private Equity Advisors managing director Charles Bridge to the post of CFO.
Last week, the company added former consultant Michael D. Lockhart to the post of chief scientist, while adding CEO Luis Lugo to the team last month.
Bridge most recently served as managing director and CFO with Boston-based Brooke Private Equity Advisors, where he helped grow the firm to $800 million in assets under management. Prior to that, he served as CFO for Boston Capital Ventures. Bridge was also CFO for Capital Resource Advisors/Wellesley Group Inc.
Lugo called the appointment a significant step forward for the company.
Earth Search’s (OTC: ESSE) technology allows for remote sensing of the chemical properties of substances on the earth’s surface from high altitudes. The company said its technology could be used to identify specific minerals and substances by their reflective patterns.
Originally founded in Montana, Earth Search relocated to Boston in late July after its acquisition of General Synfuels International Inc., a maker of gasification technologies used for the discovery of hydrocarbons.
The publicly-traded company reported a 2008 net loss of $5.1 million on zero revenue.
