By Mass High Tech Staff
Social media technology company TruMedia Networks LLC reports that it has named former Boston Red Sox executive Rafe Anderson as the company’s president and CEO.
Anderson joins Brighton-based TruMedia having spent the last six years with Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and The Boston Red Sox. TruMedia is focused on building online communities of sports fans on a local and regional level.
Before joining TruMedia, Anderson was director of business development at FSG. Following FSG’s investment in Roush Fenway Racing, Anderson integrated the business development efforts between Fenway Sports Group and Roush Fenway Racing and developed a digital media and online marketing strategy for the racing team, according to officials.
Before FSG, Anderson worked on digital media programs for The Boston Red Sox, where he played a key role in developing the sales and marketing strategy for the team’s inaugural online fan club, Red Sox Nation.
Privately held TruMedia Networks also maintains an office in North Adams.
