Oco signs business intelligence deal with Business Objects

By Mass High Tech Staff

Business intelligence software maker Oco Inc. has formed a partnership with Business Objects SA to provide Business Objects’ existing and potential customers with on-demand BI software.

Oco’s software is used in a range of industries and the company has established a growing presence in the retail sector. The Waltham-based company, founded in 1999, employs 38 workers.

Business Objects, a French company founded in 1990, was acquired by SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) in January.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Last year, the company received a $10 million investment from funds managed by Boston-based Highfields Capital Management LP as part of $14.5 million Series C round of funding.
