Castile takes the lead in Agiliance’s $10M B round

Castile Ventures is leading a $10 million Series B round of venture funding in IT governance, compliance and risk management company Agiliance Inc.

San Jose, Calif.-based Agiliance was founded in 2005. Castile was joined in the funding round by Walden International, Intel Capital and Red Rock Ventures.

It’s the Waltham firm’s second investment in a California company announced in one day. Earlier today, it was announced the company is leading a $13 million Series B round in Sunnyvale, Calif.-based wi-fi and cellular network company Agito Networks Inc.  

Last month, Castile invested $12.5 million in another California company, Redwood City-based mobile application server developer Funambol Inc.

Castile, founded in 1998, has also invested in Waltham-based Internet video platform company PermissionTV Inc., Chelmsford-based VoIP company Sonus Networks Inc. and Burlington-based supply chain and optimization company Optiant Inc.
