Brook Venture leads $7.1M funding of Security Innovations

Brook Venture Partners reports that it led a $7.1 million Series A round of investment in Security Innovation Inc.

Security Innovation, a provider of software security products and services, is based in Wilmington. The financing will be used to grow the company’s sales and marketing activities combined with additional product development, officials said.

Brook Venture, based in Wakefield, was founded in 2005. Last year, the firm closed its second fund, which totaled $100 million.

Security Innovations, founded in Florida in 2002, established offices in Seattle, Boston and Amsterdam beginning in 2005. It employs 50 workers.
