By Mass High Tech Staff

Boston investor Ascent Venture Partners has led a $12.5 million round of funding in customer experience analytics software company ClickFox Inc., of Atlanta.

The investment company was joined by current ClickFox investors Veritas Venture Partners, Cedar Fund and Delta Ventures.

ClickFox’s software provides analytic information on customer behavior patterns in applications from wireless devices, websites, kiosks and voice and speech-enabled interactive voice response systems. The new funding, ClickFox CEO Marco Pacelli said, will be used to improve analytics on predictability and customer satisfaction.

Since 1985, Ascent Venture Partners lists more than 90 early-stage technology companies in which it has invested.
