DAFCA moves into Japanese market with distributor Cybernet

By Mass High Tech Staff

DAFCA Inc., a Framingham supplier of software for electronic design automation, has moved into the Japanese market with the choice of Tokyo-based Cybernet Systems Co. Ltd. as their exclusive distributor in Japan.

Cybernet already counts among its distribution partners The MathWorks Inc. of Natick and BlueSpec Inc. of Waltham.

DAFCA makes technology for validation of both the hardware and software in application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chips and System on a Chip (SoC) products.

Last week DAFCA entered into a collaboration deal with Denali Software Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., focused on various improvements to Denali’s NAND Flash memory controller. In February, DAFCA announced a technology collaboration with Israeli firm GiDEL Ltd., a maker of reconfigurable chip technology, to enhance the integration of their two product lines.
