EqualLogic cofounders collect 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year honors in N.H.
The New Hampshire High Technology Council has named former Mass High Tech Women to watch honoree Paula Long and her fellow cofounders of EqualLogic Inc. as 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year.
Last year, Long and cofounders Peter Haden and Paul Koning sold their six year-old company storage technology company to Dell Inc. for $1.4 billion. Based in Nashua, N.H., EqualLogic raised $52 million in equity capital since it was founded in 2001.
Long has served in director and senior positions at Allaire Corp., Bright Tiger Technologies and Digital Equipment Corp. It was at the latter that she met two other DEC employees that would ultimately reunite as EqualLogic's founders.
Now a division of Dell, EqualLogic employs more than 400 people in New Hampshire.
