Post-merger Click Tactics now called ClickSquared
After merging last year, Click Tactics Inc. and Intrasight report that they are adopting a new name for the combined company.
Company officials said the relationship marketing services firm has been renamed ClickSquared Inc. to reflect the company's capabilities and mission.
ClickSquared is based in Waltham, the home of Click Tactics. Intrasight had been based in Scottsdale, Ariz., which is now a ClickSquared office. ClickSquared now employs 150 workers, according to a company spokesperson.
JMI Equity, a private equity firm with offices in Baltimore and San Diego, Calif., and Boston-based ABS Ventures made investments of $35 million to recapitalize Click Tactics for the September 2007 merger, ClickSquared CEO Andrew Frawley said.
Click Tactics had attracted about $60 million in venture capital since founded in 1999, he said. Boston-based IDG Ventures and North Carolina-based Wakefield Group are also investors.
Following the merger, Frawley became CEO of the combined company, and Intrasight president Jeff Walters now serves as ClickSquared's chief marketing officer. Intrasight was founded in 2001.
