California data management company Network Appliance Inc. (NetApp) has completed its acquisition of Boston's Onaro Inc., a maker of data visualization software, according to company officials.

NetApp plans to further develop and expand the market for Onaro's storage service management software technologies, officials said.

Financial terms of the deal for privately held Onaro were not disclosed.

Onaro was originally founded in Israel in 2002 by a group of former Israeli Defense Force veterans. The company has raised just shy of $10 million in funding. Investors include Israel-based Cedar Fund and California-based Newbury Ventures.
