Punchbowl Software runs MyPunchbowl.com, a website where users can plan and organize various stages of parties and events. The site offers users a workflow-based approach covering everything from picking a date to online invitations and organizing the products and services organizers need for an event. MyPunchbowl.com is intended to offer users an easy-to-use interface that takes them through every aspect of party planning. The company said its edge is in the site's unique interface, mixed with the its ability to insert commerce during the planning process. The site also allows party planners and guests to collaborate on a time and date, create Google maps of the party location, and discuss the party on message boards. The company generates revenue through partnerships and advertising from large and small companies, including caterers, DJs, party supply companies, and online gift companies.
