Reflexis lands Barnes & Noble as client

Reflexis Systems Inc., based in Dedham, reports that Barnes & Noble has selected Reflexis' RetailAction software to manage business in all of its stores.

The software, which is scheduled to be installed in 801 Barnes & Noble stores, is being deployed to help the bookseller streamline communication, understand workload, clarify priorities, and provide better customer service, Reflexis officials said.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Reflexis produces software for retail execution management and develops web-based solutions with one, unified interface.

Founded in 2001, Reflexis Systems employs 140 workers.

In July 2006, the privately held company completed a $10 million round of funding from Pequot Ventures, the direct private equity investment arm of Pequot Capital Management Inc.
