Broad Institute wins $3M grant to study diabetes

The Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT in Cambridge has garnered a $3 million grant from the New York-based nonprofit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for a study that could shed light on new treatments for Type 1 diabetes, according to the institute.

Alnylam grants RNAi license to Calando Pharma

RNAi therapeutics company Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. has granted Pasadena, Calif.-based Calando Pharmaceuticals Inc. an additional license for its RNAi therapeutic product.

Endicott College is pleased to announce a new graduate program, the Master of Science in Information Technology. The program was recently approved by the Board of Higher Education of Massachusetts. ICAD completes CAD Sciences buyout

ICAD Inc. reports that its has completed the purchase of the principal assets of CAD Sciences LLC, a privately-held company based in White Plains, N.Y., that develops CAD products that help doctors interpret contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images of the breast and prostate.
