Wednesday, September 16th, 2009Google Inc. is in talks with video publishing platform provider Brightcove to buy the Cambridge-based startup for $500 million to $700 million, PBS MediaShift’s Mark Glaser writes in a post to Twitter today. A Brightcove spokeswoman declined to comment on what she characterized as a “rumor.”
