Somebody forgot to tell Raytheon about the recession. The Waltham-based defense contractor brought in about $46 million in two deals in today’s Finance Roundup.
• Raytheon radar upgrades pull in $36M
Under the deal, a Foreign Military Sales contract for the State of Kuwait, Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will upgrade the country’s Patriot missile radar systems to Configuration-3, providing depot test equipment, training and technical services.

Raytheon IDS will perform concept studies for the Air and Missile Defense Radar S-Band (AMDR-S) and Radar Suite Controller (RSC).
• Techstars startup gets seed funds
Oneforty Inc. has secured about $250,000 in funding from a list of seven angel investors, founder Laura Fitton confirmed today. Oneforty is developing an application designed to integrate with Twitter Inc.’s online microblogging service, she said.
• Tangoe deals telecom platform to Atlanta firm
While no financial details of the partnership were disclosed, Orange-based Tangoe said that Advocate will use Tangoe’s CommCare Management Platform as the base for its entire portfolio of fixed and mobile telecom expense management services for enterprise customers.
• Software firm XyEnterprise sold to SDL
SDL Plc has acquired XyEnterprise Inc., the companies announced today. The deal was worth $14.7 million, according to a report by the wire service Thomson Reuters.
• Nuclea Biotechnologies offering $3M in stock sale
Nuclea Biotechnologies LLC, a genomic research firm in Pittsfield, has sold about $1 million of a $3 million stock offering, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
