Waltham-based former search giant Lycos has recovered trademarks it had spun off in 1997, including the Lycos name itself and Hotbot.
Now owned by Daum Communications in Korea, Lycos plans to relaunch its search services in Europe.
Last May, Lycos reinvented itself as a social networking company.
