Mass High Tech: The Journal of New England Technology is a weekly publication covering business news of the New England high tech industry. In 1996, MHT was purchased by American City Business Journals, the United States’ largest publisher of metropolitan weekly business and technology newspapers, with more than 40 publications nationwide. In addition, ACBJ is the leading publisher of local business news and information on the World Wide Web at www.BizJournals.com.
Since 1997, the number of MHT subscribers has grown from 5,000 to 18,000, making MHT the largest regional technology publication in the country. It has also garnered its share of awards. The New England Press Association awarded the paper first place overall design in the weekly two category in its 2007 annual Better Newspaper Contest. And also in 2007, the Society of American Business Editors and Writers awarded MHT with a certificate of merit for overall excellence in the business weekly category.
