GT Solar prices IPO to raise up to $500M

GT Solar International Inc., the holding company of Merrimack, NH-based GT Solar Inc., priced its highly anticipated initial public offering this morning, opening on the Nasdaq exchange at an opening price of $16.50 per share.

IRobot snags another lucrative Army deal

IRobot Corp. reports it has received a $17.5 million order from the U.S. Army for its PackBot military robots. The robot ordered is the PackBot 510 with FasTac Kit, which the company said helps soldiers investigate suspicious objects, identify roadside bombs and uncover unexploded ordinance.

Endicott College is pleased to announce a new graduate program, the Master of Science in Information Technology. The program was recently approved by the Board of Higher Education of Massachusetts. The program is designed for computer professionals who want to learn about advanced aspects of technology including topics such as future directions of systems technology, social aspects of technology, and continuous learning required for the technology professional. Waters finalizes VTI buyout

Milford-based Waters Corp. has completed its acquisition of pharmaceutical instruments company VTI Corp. and plans to roll VTI into its TA Instruments Division immediately.
