Millivision emerges with passive airport security scanner
Millivision Inc. of Deerfield has come up with an airport security scanner designed to detect airport security threats hidden under clothing — without exposing passengers’ private body parts to scrutiny. The device is based on millimeter wave technology spun out of UMass Amherst.

Honoring the 2010 Mass High Tech All Stars
Mass High Tech has named 16 New England tech sector leaders as recipients of the 2010 MHT All-Stars Awards, including Distinguished Achievement Award winners Ray Stata, founder of Analog Devices Inc., and Bernard M. Gordon, founder of Analogic Corp. and NeuroLogica Corp.
The 2010 honorees in the 15th Annual MHT All-Stars Awards, represent fields such as biotech, energy, storage, medical devices, Internet, communications and software. In addition to launching and growing companies, the honorees are active in helping the New England innovation economy to thrive. See the list of this year's recipients.
The honorees will be recognized by hundreds of attendees at an awards event on Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston. Tickets are available now.
In addition, each honoree will be profiled in a special report in Mass High Tech on Oct. 27. See the profiles of past recipients.
